I've got mixed feelings as a Surrey resident. I have enjoyed having it here and I've enjoyed riding it a couple of times, but the Surrey roads are boring (I can ride Leith, Box, etc. any time and frequently do on the sunday club run) - it's the bits through central London that are most fun, getting in a paceline and steaming past the landmarks. And having the same road closures every year does mess up the residents, although it does bring money to the area and it's only one weekend, etc.

I'd quite like it to go and see another part of the south east - Kent, Essex, Berks and Bucks (and into the chilterns maybe?) would be a lot more interesting to me.
