Might be a long shot, but this is stw after all....
Have a (super?) high top Ducato and want to install a reversing camera.
Most likely up in the brake light.
There are plenty on offer, but past experience has taught me that not all reversing cameras are created equal. In fact, some of them are shite. Poor picture quality in the dark. Too narrow field of view. Etc etc...
Also, can I run the camera into the factory Fiat touchscreen unit?
Fanks.
Not sure about any of that touchscreen shizzle, but I've had this one fitted into my van and me mums car for the last two years.
It's really good. Nice clear picture.
Relatively easy to install, the main pita is removing and refitting the interior trim.
They are kits on eBay to connect to the touchscreen but they aren’t cheap. Last time I looked about £200 to £300.
The one we have on the Vito has the screen in the rear view mirror, this is good as it is less clutter on the dash for a screen and it is where you instinctively look.
The screen on our Boxer is just a colour LCD so unlikely to work for a reversing camera.(I don't know what you have in the Ducato.)
I have one on my wee citan, head unit wired in through fuse box, it's wireless from camera to head unit, got it off Amazon for £100 last year, it's been superb.
IIRC it's this one -
