They offer various grades from basically to 'elite' or some such. Anyone able to comment on the optical quality of the various levels? Looks like features such as hydrophobic coating etc are only available in certain colours.

I think the Elite range are a higher optical spec (ha!), with a greater range of coatings, whether or not they’re worth the extra I don’t know, I’ve never bothered with them. While I like Revant, and had several sets of their lenses, their fit quality can vary a bit, I had some lenses made up for a pair of Oakley Flak Jackets I got from eBay, and the fit was quite a way off, I had a second set done, and they weren’t much better, the ‘hook’ part that locks into the frame was too rounded, so they wouldn’t clip in properly, in the end I used needle files to reshape them so they’d stay in place, I just couldn’t be arsed to keep going back to them. They work fine, and the lenses are unusual in that they’ photoreactive, with a persimmon light colour, going dark grey in the sun, which I like. Optically, those lenses are perhaps not quite as ‘sharp’ as an Oakley lens, but for most usage they’re perfectly adequate, my sight ain’t all that anyway! I’ve got an original pair of 90’s Mumbo’s that I need a new lens for, the +Red Iridium lens has got strange stress marks all through it, so I might try a Revant lens to see what that’s like, although it might be worth getting in touch with Oakley and see if they’ll replace it.

It's always worth dropping them a line if you have the original proof of purchase. They replaced some lenses of mine that they no longer make, I presume they have some in stock. Those replacement lenses have now gone so thinking of trying revant and keeping the glasses as spares

Proof of purchase is long gone!

Coating has started to peel off the original lenses.

I got the mid range polarised ones in a selection of colours when a bunch of my oakleys started peeling.

They all seemed to fit really well and clarity is good.

Not sure on the top level ones I'm afraid but the ones I have are good. Just a bit thinner than the original oakleys

Yes just discovered that. They only make three colours though and they are pricey.
