You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
My son has had a bunch of stuff disappear from a .md markdown file, some remains but a big chunk is missing. It's likely this is backed up via Google One, but the only option to restore it seems to us to be a full restore of the device. Since the rest of the device works fine, this seems a nuclear option too far. Anyone know if we can pick and choose bits to restore, and how?
pixel 4a, Android 13 for reference.
Could you restore to a spare phone then copy what you need over?
Thanks.
We're all out of spare phones that are less than 10 years old and function, we did think of that. He's spent the last couple of hours backing all the odds and sods off the phone so he can reset without too much worry. When you login to the Google account on Chrome on a desktop you can see the backup exists, but you can't do anything with it short of the reset.
