Whereabouts in Ealing? Around Ealing Broadway isn't amazing but the North Star can be good. A bit further down opposite Ealing Studios there's Red Lion and if you want to go a bit further down to Northfields the Plough is quite good (although a bit expensive) and has a good selection of beers on too.
As above North Star is a nice pub with good food and booze. Next to the Red Lion there's a great very small pizzeria called Santa Maria. If you go to Ealing Common there's two Japanese restaurants that serve some of the best sushi in London, I'd recommend Kiraku of the two.
Actually not really Ealing at all though its only 10 mins away. More like willesdon junction
