Reproofing tent

So im going to reproof the tent this afternoon so hopefully we dont get wet at ard rock. Its a large tent and ive got 5l of fabsil. Im going to wash it then do i

1. paint it on?

2. brush it on

3. stick it in a tub and soak it?

or something else?

advice much appreciated.

What’s it say on the bottle.
I’ve always sprayed but then it comes in a spray bottle in smaller sizes.

I used a big brush, a masonry brush I think it was. Going over several times on the seams to make sure it was well soaked in.

I used a pumpey uppey garden sprayer thing on a 6m bell tent, worked a treat.

Has anyone sprayed a silnilon or silpoly tent with silicone spray? Has it helped improve the waterproofness?

Just finished the first coat.

Armed with all of the above ( pump brush buttle sponge etc) I found spraying it on and then a sponge the best method. Right let's see how it goes.

This is on my list of jobs for the summer.  Are you doing this with the tent up or just loose on the garden as it were?
