When we moved in a few years ago the previous owner left a husqvarna LT112 ride on mower. It's showing signs of being on its last legs - constantly leaking oil, rear collection box fell off yesterday (welds failed). Cant remember how old but think its 15-20 years old last time i checked.

Garden is roughly 0.6 acres and sloped throughout. Lots of rabbits so the ground is uneven.

Is it feasible to replace it with a walk behind? Given the slop it will need to be self powered however I'm more concerned with the deck size (ride on is 36" i think) and the rough ground.

Given we've got quite a few trees a walk behind will likel be more manoeuvrable but obviously take longer.

What sort of mower should i be looking for for something that can handle the slop, rough ground and not take a fortnight to cut the lawn?
