Bought LED equivalents to replace MR16 halogen 12v bulbs, straight forward enough job...However, the electronic transformer to reduce the mains down to 12v need to be able to operate with the very low load the LED's present - the wrong type of transformer results in the lights flickering or flashing.
So bought a new transformer which was fine for about an hour then the lights started flashing again.
The blogs about this stuff (yes, really), report that the transformers give a 12v DC output but this can't be correct as the MR16 connector pins are identical and symmetrical so you can put the LED units in either way round.
Anyone know anything about this?
