Can it be done by my fair hands? Replacement battery needed for 4 year old Samsung Tab 3 - recommendations for battery retailers?

Thanks.

You could certainly open up a Nexus 10 (built by Samsung) and replace the battery.

Just youtube it; if it's possible then I'm sure it'll be on there.

Thanks dooosuk, my main worry is buying a decent quality battery. No Samsung service centre near me but surely replacing a battery is not rocket science?

No, depends on the tablet and how it's made.

Thats a lot easier than an ipad .

Well some are screwed together - easy; some are clipped together - also easy but you have to be careful not to snap stuff; some are glued together which makes things much harder!

Thanks all. 8)

Manufacturer wanted me to visit their 'service centre' but there's nothing near me. Clearly a ploy to 'persuade' me to buy a new one. A quick Google throws up horror stories of said establishments.
