I purchased a Corsair Void headset to use with my xbox and general music listening duties last year through my mum's Very catalogue.
After 10 and a half months light use, one side has stopped working. Have contacted them and they have agreed to replace. Unfortunately (or fortunately), Very no longer sell them.
I now have £69.99 with Very to get a replacement. Any recommendations on a replacement headset, bearing in mind i have to get ones from Very? Have thought about getting some headphones instead and trading in some games at Game to get a cheaper headset.
I have been told i can spend more if i want, the remaining will be split over the next 3 or 6 months depending on the price.
What would STW get?
Whatever you get, check it comes with a crown race.
Will do tom, any preference to make?
I'd say "I'll have a refund rather than credit, thanks." There is no provision in the CRA for credit notes, and no reason why you should accept such an offer.
If you're needing a headset, I'd get whichever turtle beach one fits your budget:
This is £69.99

Unless of course you bought it on a Very credit BNPL account.
Hum. An interesting point. I'm really not sure what the legality there would be.
Thanks for the info.
Jamie - correct. BNPL on the account.
Even though they don't have a huge choice, i am quite happy with their response. Just have to pick a replacement and get it sorted.
To keep it simple, I'd just get the best for the £69.99. Which I guess is this one:
Oi, that's wot I said.
Then I am agreeing with you 8)

This one. I got one for PC duties. Yes its wired but it works and works well, mine is two or so years old and still looks like new.
Comes with more extensions and accessories than you probably need including a 2m extension and an airline socket adaptor. Mic unplugs as well if you want to take them out (in the provided pouch). Oh and yes, that includes the required adaptor to plug into the controller directly (assuming you have the mk2 controller).
But yeah, more reliable than wireless at that price. Inline controller looks like its been remodelled but that's the only difference.
