laptops died, so looking at what i need to replace it with. something smaller for definite. thought about note/netbooks, but been told theyre a bit cr*p, altho i thought that would be where the sensible money went, as tablets are the 'in thing' right now.
anyways, ive been playing around with a nexus 7, to see whether id prefer a small tablet instead. i only really used the laptop for internet, email, msn/icq, and very minimal office use, so a mini tablet seems a viable option. i do use logitech server software, but intend getting a nas for that side of things anyway.
main bugbear at the moment seems to be a lack of keyboard and mouse/trackpad. its do-able for an email or typing in web addresses, but if im on msn say, its a bit awkward holding the tablet and trying to use the android keyboard.
so im thinking of bluetooth keyboards. are they any good? anyone use a similar setup? say the nexus in a case standing on a desk, and then using a bluetooth keyboard with it? or i spose a usb cable would still be fine too.
just wondering whether anyone actually does this, or whether a note/netbook or small laptop might still be best option. interested to hear pluses and negs.
thanks
