[Closed] repairing wall after removing skirting

The next question and thanks for answers so far.

I have got most of the skirting off and on the whole the plaster is fine, but there are a couple of patches that have been damaged.

Basically best approach to making good?

Taller skirting board.
12" if needed.
You should see my lounge.
Its so tall now we hang paintings off it.

For big holes, expanding foam then trim when it's set and treat as small hole below:

For small holes, use decorator's flexible caulk (99p a tube in Toolstation), wait till dry then light sand and paint over.

Filler, when dry sand n paint. Are you re-fitting skirting?
