After a generator mishap this weekend my pms3h has stopped charging the leisure batteries on hook up.
The charging light comes on by multi meter says no bueno.
Looked at all the external fuses in the system.....are there any internals to look at (units riveted together)
Any experiance ?
Pssst always fit a surge protector inline with your generator ......
Yeah I've found him and will speak to him.
Just wondered if anyone else had had a go. Removing this from the van is not fun....it has about 50 wires coming back into it. I've had it out before it's all labeled it's still not fun.
I've got the same unit as yourself, and I think (IIRC) there's an internal fuse, but the last time I had mine out there seemed no obvious way to take the unit apart. Expluginsteve seems to get a good name for fixing them.
I feel your pain re unhooking all the cables.
Spoke with Steve.
There's a fuse tucked in under some wirinbon the back
All sorted now. Cheaply too. Just 1 20 amp fuse required 🙂
Ah, sorry- when you said:
"Looked at all the external fuses in the system"
I thought you'd checked that one too. Glad you got it though.

Aye I just checked all the van external fuses between battery and output.....
Didn't realise out put was fused as well as the RCD on the input.
Glad though cheap fix.
