Wanting to go finale in May three of us,done it before with hire car but was a right faff fitting 3 bike in a estate,Ive looked into hiring more than one car which is what I may have to do.
We're flying into nice as easyJet have stopped there flights to Genoa from Manchester.I cannot find any company that I could hire a van off,I've looked a loads of company's and when you put van into search engine it'll come up with people carriers which cost a fortune.Surely there must be commercial van hire in major cities like nice.Any advice much appreciated.

I found two just like that use the franch words fourgon utilitaire:

https://www.rentiz.com/location-utilitaires/nice-aeroport
https://www.rentacar.fr/agences/aeroports/529-nice-aeroport-point-service

But do check if they allow cross borders, especially for non EU citizens (hello Brexit rubish)

Or try down town offices as that type of vehicle is not a tipical airport rental and so often limited or no stock, different downt town though.

I just put nice into the Europcar app and they offer a van, £177 for a week with a 3 seat kango or £240 for a traffic.

As above, it’s the on airport bit you’ll struggle with but looking at a map it’s a 4.5km taxi to europcar, one of you clears off and gets the van and fetches the others.

a 3 seat kango

take the notion of 3 adults sitting in the front of a kangoo or berligo with a massive pinch of salt. With 3 in the front you need to go transit sized.

We hired a people carrier, ended up with a Galaxy for three of us, three bikes and three bags. Didn't need to transport them while we were there but there was plenty of room with seats folded down to get everything in there. From memory I think we split the rear seats and pushed bike bags all the way forward beside the rear passenger.

Might be another option to a van.
