I'm looking at replacing my current van a T4 and it's most likely going to be with a new Renault Traffic Sport, so a slight upgrade in what I've been driving for the last few years. My plan will be to convert it over the next 12 months in to a comfortable camper/work van (I work away a reasonable amount and having a camper is perfect). This time around I'm looking to do things a little different from my T4, so considering resale value, doing things to a high spec as opposed to a slight rough and ready finish with my current van. So I'm looking for advice from folks who have converted traffic/similar vans as whilst there is ton's of resources for VW owners, I haven't yet found a decent resource for the Traffic.

My base van is likely to be a panel van with glazed tailgate, and I will have side windows fitted in the middle panels after buying. I'm looking at fitting a rear bike rack and wondering how folks get on with these? Ease of use/door opening etc?

Next up, looking for advice on rock n' roll beds, I'm having twin captains seats fitted at factory, which at some point I will put on swivel bases, but want to add two seats/bed in the rear for additional passengers and any kids that may come along in the next couple of years - so any real world experience of beds appreciated.

I'm guessing once I have fitted extra seats in the back I will need to notify the DVLA is this straight forward?
