I've been trying to fix the rear windows of our Scenic. Both won't wind down, either with the door control or the driver's buttons.
I bought 2 new temics thinking these were the likely culprits. But I swapped one today and it made no difference. The window still doesn't move. Both the new and old temics click when the button is pressed, so I think this might be the motor instead....?
The temics have 3 pins. I guess the circular pin is ground and the two others reverse polarity for up and down? Or is the circular pin just for locating?

What's the best way to tell the motor is blown, 0 ohms across the pins (whichever are right ones...)?
Just to be clear, obviously the motor has three pins too and this is where I'd be checking if the motor is shorted, not the temic!
It could be multiple things including a broken loom.
have you scanned for fault codes?
To check the motor you can as you say check for resistance with a multimeter, once you have a resisitance try a 12V supply across it both ways and see if the motor turns.
The electric windows in my car don't work particularly well when my 12v battery is at a low voltage/state.
