My son wants to sell his Xbox 360, which was 2nd hand to him, and there are parental controls on there which we didn't set. As we didn't set them, we don't have the passcode or the answer to the question to reset the passcode. Has any idea how I can get round this?
Thanks in advance.
Might not be of use if the box isn't registered to you, but:

Failing that, contact MS?  https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us
I'd be tempted just to take it to CEX or Game and let them worry about it.

(It says MS will remove it if they're happy that you're authorised to do so.)
Thanks Cougar, I'll give it a read when I get home.
Yeah I did this last month. She got me to register it on my Microsoft account. Give her the serial number then press a combination of keys which she gave me incorrectly. Eventually worked it out.
