I thought I'd be better off asking this here rather than an IT related forum 😉
At work have a workstation with specialist software on on that needs to be accessed remotely by at least 2 different member of staff (not at the same time). No support related functionality needed, just simple requirement to operate the workstation remotely. What desktop sharing software would you recommend?
I should have said that currently we use Chrome remote desktop but 2 different people cant get remote access to the same computer so that's out. It is very simple and reliable though.
Set up a new google/chrome account they can both use when needed?
something like tightvnc would allow the station logged in you can both connect
Assuming it's a Windows 10/11 "Pro" system, is there any reason not to use the built in Remote Desktop software?
If it's not a "Pro" version of Windows, I also like TightVNC, but haven't used it for years.
I find Logmein superb, works really well.
I've driven 3D CAD over it quite a bit either working from home or working on customer sites with a very light, low power laptop.
We use HP Graphics I think. How graphically intensive ?

You can't swap remotely, only if someone is physically at the workstation to change who has remote access.

Similar use case so will give that a try. Thanks
Your question has already been answered - internal access, RDP, external access LogMeIn - so I'll just add,
You need to run this past any IT department you may have. If you sling up remote access into your corporate network which is punching holes through the firewalls, you might start hearing words like "gross" and "misconduct" in the same sentence. In any grown-up environment it shouldn't be possible but, well, meanwhile back in the real world...
We VPN into the company, then Windows remote desktop to desktops running CAD. Works surprisingly well. I've also gone onto a third PC in the office from the second. Still works fine.

Thanks but micro company so no IT department.
A few years ago we used to run TightVNC but our ComSec team shouted at us as it's very vulnerable
We moved to RoyalTS to RDC to a bazillion servers at once
Another option is rustdesk which is really good too
