Ok i am not a tech oriented person. However this basic and ridiculously expensive digital notebook is a revelation.
Anyone else use one?
I had the original one when it first came out. Sold it on pretty quick as it was underpowered and pretty crap.
From what I remember it could do 2 things - read pdfs in black and white. Draw or write notes in black & white.
Like, compared to an iPad it was like a going back to using a 1990s green screen
Yep its a marmite thing
I have one and really like it. It’s just a nice thing to use, and a nice thing to write on. As good to write on as paper (unlike an iPad), but organised and secure.
<p style="text-align: left;">Same for me</p>

It's taken a little bit of time to get used to the workflow, but have been using it for the last year. It's good at keeping notes on different projects all in one place, and accessible from phone, laptop or remarkable. My desk no longer has multiple notebooks and post=its everywhere
Excellent for taking to the coffee shop and letting the brain do it's thing without online distraction.
yes I have one and it’s excellent for managing all the notes from meetings and collaborations I’m part of. No more looking through countless old notebooks.

I have an original. It does what it does very well. Expecting it to do other things is a mistake (and I frequently see people comparing it to an iPad - that's like comparing a Scientific Calculator to a Smartphone, or a Garmin Watch to Strava on your phone). You CAN do similar things with them but one seems way more impressive because it also does all the other things too - but if you judge it just on the core features - notes, sketching, marking up pdfs, it does a pretty nice job. They sell not having the other crap as a feature to help you focus - and I am pretty convinced that is undervalued.
Oh but I got it as an early adopter at 1/2 price and have grandfathered rights on the subscription service. Not sure I'd pay full price.

Same here. Good on you for sticking with it, but the damn thing was so slow.
I love it for certain tasks, though these are quite specific. When u was studying last year I would download journal articles onto it and annotate them. It allowed me to leave the laptop screen for a while which was really tiring on the eyes.
My daughter hates writing but for some reason she will happily write on the remarkable.
Connecting to WiFi is awful.
The 2 is fast enough bit clunky now and again

Slow to change page or copy and paste perhaps - but just writing/drawing I don't notice it - but I'm not that fast myself!

Yes - I only really use if from my home WiFi or phone hotspot - its certainly not possible to turn up to a meeting and hope the public/guest wifi will work with it. Although I believe Head Office Visitor Wifi now works with it since the CEO got one 😉
Are people still enjoying use of remarkable? I'm having issues with multiple notebooks/lists and would like some help keeping things tidy and in some sort of order. Remarkable looks good but pricey, is it worth the money?
Other alternative is 2nd hand iPad and apple pencil but reviews seem to say this isn't as good a 'writing feel'
would love to get one to stop all the 1000s of bits of paper we have lying around with important info on them. Unfortunately I suspect it then means that you need to got through it from time to time to clean up whereas with bits of paper they 'self-tidy' by just getting lost.
Watching with interest though
