Relocating to Leicester from West Yorkshire keen enduro rider, love my jumps etc shredding it up.

Since Leicester is the flattest place on earth is there any local woods/dirt jumps/ anything you can point me in the right direction of. Or anyone willing to meet up for a ride.

Other than the jumps in western park I'm afraid you'll be travelling for any decent riding

Where in Leicestershire are you?

There are trails, pm me. It's best not putting it all on open web forum.

Everything is filthy at the moment though.

As supersessions says, there are trails.

Best not on open forum, so PM him (and me if you want).

I've got to ask, why move to Leicester?
The City is grim. Traffic is terrible. I cant think of many/any reasons, apart from work, that would make me move here. I've lived here all my life, there is no way I'd move within 10 miles of Leicester now if I moved.

Lol, my partner has a good job at next, and I’m sick of going up and down the m1 very week. Plus I’ve found a better job for myself (engineer) it’s only for a few years

You think Leicester traffic is bad. Should try moving between Leeds and Bradford. Makes the A563 feel like a country road.

I moved from outer Bradford having lived there and Leeds for 20 years previous. Been in Leicester coming up to 18 years now and although these is riding - as mentioned above - it's nothing like Yorkshire.

Cannock isn't bad and the peaks are not too far away - which certainly are more challenging.

Yup your right about the traffic up here. I know I’m not going to get riding like you north but there’s got to be awesome local spots!
