Sadly, I lost my beloved little Swiss Army knife the other day. (Bobbing along somewhere under the warm waters of the west coast of Barbados. Oops)

So, I want/need to replace it. The model I want is a Rambler (Sadly!), and I've tried the usual suspects in That London, outdoor shops, to no avail. So, can anyone please recommend a reliable place to buy one online?

Personnally I'm lost without my Spartan Swiss Army knife, have had to replace it twice, though eventually found my original but that lives in my bike bag now. One of my better finds (literally) over 15 years ago.

http://www.gadgeteers.co.uk/products/victorinox/index.htm

Used these people both times (2008 & 2010), reliable and were cheap (no idea if they are now)

...hmmm can't seem to locate that model on their site though.

last time i bought a swiss army knife it was by the cornavin railway station, some where on the Rue du Mont Blanc i think, in Geneva. Personally prefer Wenger to Victorinox.

I do like the names of some of the Victorinox models: "jelly hunter", "jelly climber" and so on. It makes you wonder what particular activities they had in mind for them. Hunting and climbing jelly, I guess....

Is the consensus then that Gerber and the like really don't replace Wenger/ Victorinox?

Thanks, Z1ppy. It has to be the same model though, it's just perfect for slipping in to a pocket. (And is the smallest with a bottle opener!)

Thanks, Tim! Rambler is the model I'm after, I think it only comes in the classic red.

Apparently, people who bought that also bought "The Little Book of Whittling."

Thanks, Tim and all. Ended up ordering one from Swisstool, as seemingly no one else had 'em in stock!
