Nephew wants an iphone. He quite sensibly said he wanted a 4s as the 5s/5c were too expensive but I thought it might make more sense to get a refurbished 5.

Best to hedge bets on ebay for a sealed box refurb or are there any more legit sources that don't cost an arm and a leg? He's up in Wilmslow if it helps but I suspect online will be the answer unless any STWers have one to sell.

Buying off ebay is a bit of a minefield, buy in person if possible.

Whatever he does, wait till the middle of next month - new ones will be announced and old stuff will get cheaper.

will be lots of 5's for sale next month as all the people on 2yr contracts upgrade to the new 6.
