I've had an ongoing issue with Bos forks I purchased at begining of the year, and its culminated in me sending them back yesterday and asking for a refund.
Where do I stand legally with getting a refund ? can I contact my Credit card company and say there not fit for purpose ? or do Bos have to agree to refund.
Issues have been,
1. long delivery. Ordered, 23rd December not shipped until 16th April.
2. Finally releasing that they were not working after talking to R53, and sending the forks to them, only to have them sent back to me and me having to direct send them to France.. at my cost, for both shipments.
3. No communication from France that they were being serviced. Took six weeks to be repaired and no action at all until I had to email Olivier Bossard
4. First ride out after repair and they break. I've returned them to France. No reply to email last week if I should return them or no..so just sent them
Grounds for a refund ?
Who did you actually buy them from? Your contract is with them - if it was direct from France not sure UK consumer law will apply but EU 2 year rule shoudl still hold.
Might be worth cotnactign card company and asking for a chargeback but you might be outside time limit for that.
