I suspect the answer is no but it is worth a try. Can I record the cycling from Eurosport player via my Smart TV? It isn't possible I am told via the lap top and as far as I can make out it isn't available as a catch up feature so I have to watch when its broadcast. I was wondering if plugging a DVD recorder in to the TV might somehow fool the system. Doubt it but one never knows.

I can do it on my Samsung model. Needs a dedicated USB flash disk/USB HD, as it formats it so that it can only be used on the TV (think there's a bit of encryption chucked in there.)

Whats the make and model of the telly?

Are you sure cdb? He's on about recording internet content, I doubt you could do it to a hard drive, I reckon you'd need to use the video out if it has one and send it to a different device (like a DVD recorder).

I was wondering if what W2K is suggesting would be possible. Any more details or experiences?
