What companies are recommended for processing C41 colour 35mm film?

Looking for quality and price, not speed.

Have used dLAB7 in the past and was very happy, but a bit pricey. What are the alternatives?

Where are you located? Or are you looking for processing by post?

Ian, Glasgow. Would rather high street, but I don't mind posting. Have concerns with the postal strikes though...

Can't help you there - but I do know a really good processer in West Yorks...

I did that job at Boots one summer, many moons ago. Great amusement to be had when folk came in all sheepish knowing full well that you'd seen the 'artistic' photography they'd been dabbling in.

The usual recommendation is Peak Processing in Sheffield, isn't it? Never used them, but I've only ever heard good things too.

Spectrum Imaging in Newcastle have always been good. They send the prints and negatives separately so there's less chance of you loosing everything...

Ilford (by mail) are brilliant for black and white - quick and not too expensive. You can buy the films with the processing included and Boots often have a 3 for 2 deal on which makes it good value. Not sure about colour.

Thanks for the heads, but this is for colour process film. Will look at that deal though, I've always wanted to shoot mono.

I've used Club35 (google them) before and been pretty happy.
