There is the holiday park at Prestwick, right at the end of the runway but it's a very low traffic airport (unless someone is doing circuits), good views, can't comment on toilets. You can walk to Prestwick in one direction or Troon in the other either on the beach or along the golf course(s).

Craigie is down by the river, plenty of walks out from there too if you go towards the edge of town, does mean crossing the A77 if you want to venture any further.

There is a site with statics outside Symington, just off the A77, nice and quiet, not sure about dogs.

Craig Tara if you don't mind Butlins/Haven/whatever it is now.

Aye, prestwick would be good, pretty much no planes ordinarily, never mind now!

Maidens is lovely, fantastic restaurant along the harbour, wildings, but no pub.

I booked it once, even though it’s only about 5 miles from my house, for a family thing (that sadly had to be called off) but had a good look around and it’s great - grand but not opulent.

Craig Tara if you don’t mind Butlins/Haven/whatever it is now.

There is a reason why the beach is one of the ten worst bathing waters in Scotland.

Don't use the boating lake

The site itself is one for the buckfast generation

Kelburn estate has some Glamping too, quite a nice wee place, plenty biking around, lovely views over Arran/Clyde islands and a decent pub 15 in walk away.

All pics below in or around the estate, be happy to show you around the trails.
