12 year old Bubs really enjoys games like Zelda, Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest. What else should he be looking at now he has completed those (and ideally not 18s)?
...another ghost post...shouting into the void.
Dude, it's been 12 minutes.
My son really enjoyed Xenoblade Chronicles on the Switch. I’ll get some more recommendations tomorrow.
Can you get Metroid on the the Switch? The Metroid Prime series were a cracking set of puzzle/shooter/platform games in the Zelda mould.
Although the fact it’s nearly twenty years since they came out suddenly made me feel aware of my own mortality.
Monster hunter popular with my 12 year olds.

Ha, it wasn’t a case of attention deficit, my post didn’t appear until I logged back in, viewed my activity and then bumped it. It’s happened before...something to do with Safari?
I think there's a disturbance in the matrix generally at the minute. There is - I'm led to believe as a no-longer-moderator and thus out of the loop in so far as I was ever in the loop in the first place - some hefty site upgrades in the Intertubes.
Also, Safari has always been toss with STW, use something else. (-:
Divinity:Original sin 2 is well written and has a great soundtrack.
Second vote for divinity original sin. Great RPG that can be played as a co-op
Third vote for Divinity original sin 2. One of the best games I've played. One of my favourite things about it is that it doesn't hold your hand which makes it challenging in places but also very satisfying when you overcome those challenges. The art, story, music, script, world, gameplay and characters are all first rate.
There's a new zelda (remake) out later in the year. That, and the other 2 on switch are all masterpieces
