I want waterproof.
Comfortable.
Not needed for clambering up mountains but for town and low-level country walks.
Not hi-top type boots.
Less than 75 quid.
Karrimor look ok on the web but seem very cheap, almost too cheap.

I've got some Salomon approach shoes that are Goretex. They can usually be picked up on sale for around your budget.

Yeah salomon look good.. Almost bought a pair but opted for the cheaper karrimor, which are very light and comfy.. Don't know that they'll last as well but I'm happy with them as a general rough and tumble shoe.
