Morning. I'm refreshing my itunes stable of podcasts. I'm currently enjoying Thinking Allowed, Real Peloton, Velo Club Don Logan, Infinite Monkey Cage, Freakonomics amongst others.

I've tried a few - Fighting Talk I didn't get on with. I'ussy on theve yet to find a funny one that wasn't equal parts annoying and funny. Music ones (BBC esp) seem only to be able to give you 10secs of each song, which defeats the object.

Any gems that you can suggest? Not particularly fussed on subject matter, more that it's well put-together and entertaining. Thanks 😀

PS I tried 'The Best of Chris Moyles', but the link was empty. Chortle.

Collings and Herrin [sic] and AIOTM - entertaining but not exactly well put-together

My eldest swears by "the Bugle"

I also enjoyed the Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes (of Clerks fame)podcasts. Concentrates on their story from when they made Clerks and Jason Mewes drug problems. Stopped listening after they got up to the present day. You might also find some from the Stand comedy club, they released some last summer around the time of the festival.

"Jim & Eddie Talikin Shit" is brutal, dirty, very sweary and very funny.
It's comedians Jim Jefferies & Eddie Ifft.

Collings and Herrin is great. It's a bit like listening to your mates in the pub. But generally better. But it's not slick. And generally a pretty low-fi recording.

Collins and Herring is also good. That's their BBC approved version.

If you like sci fi stuff then check out Scott Siglers podcasts. he's released almost all his novels in 30 min weekly chunks via podcast. I can't stick listening to audiobooks as I get bored, but the once a week model is great. Like the old radio serials the old uns used to listen to on the wireless I guess

If you like tech\geek stuff then the guys over at Frogpants studios are worth checking out(flimsack is v good at the moment). Twit.TV has a few good ones as well on various subjects
