Have a look on YouTube
The dj hype moondance mix is a classic

If you can find the radio one essential mix that has goodie inner city life mixed into Leviticus the burial
That's what got me

Pretty much anything on the urban takeover label.
Some that come to mind:
Mulder- getting blunted, stick up kid, don't believe.
Eps&2vibe- keepin it real/funk da fied.
Aphrodite- stalker.

Probably loads more somewhere in my head but it's it's been a few years since I thumbed through my tunes and it's all a bit hazy now!

I learnt to mix on 1998 by using 'badass' into another copy of 'badass'. Good Times!

Scorpio Li Li was always my favorite jump up style DnB

Prob favourite track ever was Total science 'Squash'

with honorable mentions to Titan, Up all night and Shadowboxing

Edit : some bangers on this thread good work! Who Wants a rewiiiiiiii d!

Not necessarily old skool but if this fails to get you moving, you might as well be dead...

John B - Up All Night (Epic Mix)

There's loads of old skool mixes on the Mixcloud website and app btw. There's one by Kenny Ken which is one of my faves.

You can hear it played live in the set below from Helter Skelter at The Sanctuary in 1994 (I was there that night BTW)

I was at boomtown the other week, DJ Hype b2b DJ Hazard and MC GQ played the last set in Sector 6 and the whole place was going off big time. Reminded me of World Dance back in the 90s.

Heard a bit of Ed Solo, sounded amazing. I hope it gets uploaded somewhere, his other two mixes from Boomtown are still on my regular playlist!
