Just got through another pair of Brasher, which don't seem to last like they did... So I'm after some long lasting leather (not nubuck etc) boots for all year round use.
Not bothered about sympatex, goretex, water proof linings etc. I'd rather have a boot I can drench in leather treatment/polish/feed/wax.
I like Altberg and wear them everyday for work, but when I'm paying myself I'd like to save a bit of money. That said, I do like that the can be rebuilt/finished.
Does anyone know of any good deals around at the moment, or any particular boots you've found to be good value, comfy, long lasting etc?

In all honesty asking another person about comfort is pointless. Used to find heading somewhere with a bit selection was best bet but then I used to have the peak and lakes as local
As above, try on as many as you can and walk laps of the shop.

Buy some of those then.
Spend good money on your boots and your bed. If you're not in one, you're in the other.
I'd rather have boot that fit and Wear out over ones that don't and last forever.
