I've got a craving for some decent kippers having had some in a small hotel recently. I asked the owner and he got his from Devon but I can't remember the name. I've seen a couple of websites that sell them shrink wrapped with a 14 day shelf-life and you can freeze them when they arrive in the post. Any recommendations?

Get them from Craster in Northumberland. Google it. Mail order, if you want, or Waitrose sometimes sell 'em.

This bloke in Whitby does excellent ones. Not sure if he does mail order as I've always bought when we've been up there.
