As title. We've had limited success with an online poker game, but it only seems to work through laptops not tablets/phones.
The intention being to play whilst having a group voice chat on WhatsApp etc. for general nattering/piss taking just to keep entertained/be social whilst stuck at home
So what's available?
Ideally games available on both Android/iOS.
Easy to invite to friends.
Free ideally
Open to suggestions. Anything suitable for kids would be useful too, then my kids could do the same thing with theirs.
Thanks
Tokaido is free on both Android and iOS currently (or was earlier this weekend at least).

Still is Cougar.
No idea what it is but downloaded it for now.
It's a very gentle board game. I have the physical version. It's a fun little distraction from the heavier stuff.
Good idea
Is Android tokaido multiplayer like a board game or just a single player adventure version?
I've not yet loaded it up, but I'm led to believe it's online multiplayer. Whether there's a solo / AI option I don't know.
Thank you
Have downloaded and will look later too and share with a few friends
Good spot , ta
Oh, I know.
The Jackbox series of games. Fun, silly games that you can play remotely via phone / app, just needs one person on a PC / console to host it. I was playing it via Discord the other day, with the host Twitch streaming it.
A good simple one used to be Draw Something. I've just reinstalled it (which means starting from scratch with only four colours but it builds quickly. The ads are annoying though) to play with my ESOL students.
Used to play it a lot. For the record, the correct response to one's wife announcing she's going into labour is not "Hang on, let me just finish this drawing".
Thanks. Will check out that Guardian link and the others mentioned.
I put a similar post on Facebook;
Recommendations so far only included Psyche and Scrabble.
If you're into cars there's a 'game' you can play using Autotrader. A bit like the start of a Top Gear challenge. Set some criteria/scenario, a budget and you've all got a few minutes to find and link the best car on WhatsApp. It was actually a bit of a laugh with a few of us yesterday, though the guy posting a Ssangyong Rodius wasn't taking it seriously...😂
