Mrs STR will be returning to work at some point - she has a barbers shop which is normally cash. Will be needing contactless/card payment when she goes back (amongst other protective measures).

Anyone use them - good/bad? Will need to be able to use via a mobile phone app, as no phone line.

Square. In general lower rates than iZettle and faster payment times reader has uber long battery life, App just works. Do not get a paypal one! Everyone I know with a paypal reader regrets it.

SumUp seemed popular when we were looking at craft markets over Christmas. I think that iZettle is owned by PayPal now.

iZettle, Square & Sumup are all good with no long term contract. Get in touch with all, share your revenue data and take whoever gives you the cheapest rate + throws in a free card reader.

If all you are doing is entering an amount and hitting pay you don’t even have to think about features etc. If it’s stuck on a desk all day try check out the iZettle dock / stand the reader clips into - looks pretty nice. Again they may throw one in for free if you are nice.
