As title, please. Oh, and some decent stations for rock and metal.

Edit: For wi-fi.

I have a Roberts Stream 83i which is pretty good - it has FM and DAB in addition to Internet services. It also supports DLNA and playback from USB

We don't get DAB here, hence why it needs to be internet radio. Does it work fine as an alarm clock?

Don't buy a Freecom MusicPal. Even if you see it dirt cheap.

I've got one. Its rubbish. Really buggy software, slow and needs turned off/on to get it unlocked.

I want something else.

I use Tunein on my smartphone and have set it up for Real radio XS (as samurai).

It just works.

Re. the 83i it works great as an Internet radio

If it is only Internet radio you want though I would be tempted to go with a tablet and bluetooth speaker.

I use a Lenovo android tablet (quite old now) and a Jabra Solemate and it works well. Ideally you want a dock for the tablet to hold and charge it if possible.

Oops, the Logitech is Internet only, no dab.

I would just go with the smartphone app and a set of speakers if necessary, IMO the days of specialist devices like an Internet / digital alarm clock are gone.

Ok, so I've come around to using my Sony phone: What alarm clock docking station for internet radio?

I've got a Revo Axis XS Its a dock, internet radio, dab radio, plays music streamed from your network, plays music over bluetooth from your phone, and it's an alarm. It wasn't cheap mind, but we use it all the time.

Yeah, that is a little coiny. I was thinking of something more like this:
