Getting married in July - need to sort out a photographer.
If anyone has any recommendations i'd be very interested in hearing them - ideally with a link to websites... there is a lot of choice out there so i'd rather go with a recommendation rather than taking a punt.
(Alternatively if you're a wedding photographer with nothing booked on the 10th July then drop me a mail at ewan at ewanpanter dot co dot uk )
Cheers!
Try Atelier - not just your usual 'mums and aunties' type of shots.
he's a good lad and he'd probably travel. did a mate of mines wedding recently and did a cracking job.

Slightly biased, but you can get in contact with my sister. She's London based but Hampshire/Surrey shouldn't be a problem. She's a good photographer, very professional and will do good rates as well. Website and contact details HERE
Could try http://www.m-photo.co.uk/index.htm in Reading, i'm sure he'd travel if free.
A very good friend of mine is a wedding snapper!

She did our wedding last year and I was very pleased with the results. Tell her Peter recommended her! 🙂

I've seen his stuff before and he's booked for my wedding at the end of July
I know they're pretty booked up already though
I'm getting married in August in Langrish, Hants.
We are using this bloke http://spinksphotography.co.uk/?load=flash having been recommended to us by friends. His albums are fantastic and he comes across as a really nice fella.
I'd wholeheartedly recommend http://www.oatlandsstudio.com/
They (Alison actually) did ours nearly 10 years ago now and while she isn't cheap she does a really good job. She's a bit of an acquired taste, absolutely barking mad, but she was like a bonus entertanment as well as the photographer.
You can actually see one of ours in photo "ceremony 3" - such a good image capturing the atmosphere of a country house wedding in fading Autumnal light.....
Can't recommend this guy enough! He did us a really good deal and the photo's were excellent!!
Steve Etheridge
There are 2 of them, him and his partner (Elaine), Steve does a lot of the formal stuff and Elaine takes a lot of informal photo's. We paid for them to be at our reception until about 8.30pm but they didn't leave until 9.30pm in the end, no extra charge!!
He's based just south of Cranleigh, Surrey......
Not Ti29er would be my recommendation.
Cheers guys - emails dispatched!
Try Mark Leuty (www.markleuty.co.uk) as well - he's done a couple of friends weddings and they've been very good indeed.
Not Ti29er would be my recommendation.
LOL - I was expecting Ti29er to be here telling us how brilliant he is (but that we can't afford his services)
I had a thread on here a few months back about this, and how much photographers were after.
In the end we went with a local photographer who has taken some of our friends weddings, is very reasonable and is not arrogant at all.
