I fancy seeing what goes on wildlifwe wise after dark so am thinking of setting up a trail camera. There's a lot out on the market. Can any of you lovely peeps recommend a proven one for up to £100?

Thanks in advance.

No.

Sorry, but I don't have any experience of a cheap one. What's that you say? Oh, sorry yes, STW. Get one like me. It's a Moutrie and doesn't meet your spec. but it's pretty good. More than £100 though.

Aldi do one every so often. My other half has a couple of them now and swears by them ( she's used them for hedgehogs, pine martens and various others beasts)

I got one from Lidl a couple of months ago, £70 I think. I quite like it, pretty good photo/video quality, and decent battery life.

Also have an Ltl Acorn from a couple of years ago, cost about £100. Its not bad, though image quality is not great, and its now not working properly.

Some of the new Browning cameras look good, though probably a bit more than £100.
Worth a look at NatureSpy, their website is useful for comparing models. https://shop.naturespy.org/camera-trap-selection/

I've got a few badgers, pine martens and squirrels in the garden, plus the occasional deer. I've now put a camera up in the woods to see what I find.
Couple of videos from the Lidl camera.

Ours is a bushnell, cost around the hundred mark. Seems great but its the only one i've used so can't really compare.
