Right - I want to create a storage solution for a lot (200gb and growing) of photos, videos (GoPro etc) and files over the years.
If possible it needs to be:
- accessible both wirelessly and over the net (ie can access from abroad).
- relatively good value (dont really want to spend too much!)
- reasonably simple to setup
At present we have:
Storage - Time Capsule (older version - 500 GB), a 1TB external Hard drive, a smaller external hard drive and many USB flash drives.
Computers - a macbook air and a windows based PC
Mobile - Android based phones and tablet

A NAS drive, and something to back it up to.
Personally, I use a couple of Qnap drives ( a 219II and a 212 ). I've found them very good, and I understand that they have good support for Apple products.
Stick a hard drive big enough to hold all your files into the pc and then use either www.crashplan.com (my choice) or www.backblaze.com (another good choice IMO) to hold a backup of this computer (including drive with everything) in the cloud.
