Looking for an 8x6 tongue & groove jobbie, apex roof with reasonable quality. All the local suppliers seem to do bespoke sheds which cost a fortune or just order online and deliver to the customer direct. Preferably it will have solid wood throughout, no osb if possible. Tiger sheds seem ok but tell me your good/bad experiences. Is it best to have pressure treated wood.

I bought one from these a few weeks ago. Dead easy to put together and seems pretty well made.

I put a 14ft x 8ft pent roof shed from https://www.powersheds.com/ together for my dad last year, good quality, no osb in sight. He got the timber base as he was putting it at the bottom of the garden. Piece of cake to put up, had it done (mainly by myself) in a day.

If you are in Derbyshire I can recommend Chesterfield Sheds (based in Chesterfield funnily enough!).

I can say avoid BillyOh though - my friend bought one of their summer houses and it was a nightmare to erect and after only two years has bowed and warped badly.

https://www.nordictimberbuildings.com

Just had a 12x8 from them (installed foc as well) and couldn’t be happier.

They were also very helpful with queries and changed the door size/type foc

Also used Quickjacks with a timber frame base:

Mate had one from Beast Sheds. Configure online exactly what you want, layout, windows, framing/cladding thickness etc. He's very happy with it.

Absolutely not Tiger Sheds as there delivery driver will refuse assistance in windy conditions and then proceeed to drop a shed on your Porsche. The company will then be complete c*nts about it.

Avoid at all costs.

nordic timber buildings seemed best value  when i looked around for something a little more robust (based off a recommendation from here). 3x2 framing and 19mm pressure treated cladding as standard (can upgrade) and several £100 cheaper than others for similar (all be it this was a year or so ago)

We went with Nordic sheds, they gave us free delivery & installation despite us being just outside their delivery zone as we had two sheds off them. Happy with my 12 x 8.... got the 3ft single door option for ease of getting bikes through instead of the 4ft wide double doors, and the extra-height option too, so I can stand up in there and work comfortably on bike, little projects, etc, works very well.

I upgrade the door hinges myself, and added euro gatemate lock for security.
