So we had planned to go camping this week. The plan was the lakes in Stonethwaite, and going playing in the plunge pools.

Then Binnerette number one, with her usual exquisite timing, breaks her foot 😕

So this is forcing a re-think. Being in the middle of nowhere and getting up to hurling yourself off rocks type activities is now all well and truly off the agenda. So we were thinking seaside type place instead. With stuff to do that is manageable with someone on crutches. Hey ho!

Needs to be within 2 hours of manchester ideally. I was thinking Llandudno maybe

Any experiences and recommendations please oh wise and worldly STW...?

Porthmadog and Black Rock Sands, you can drive the car on to the massive beach, so no distance for your daughter to hobble.

Cheers chaps! Anglesey looks a good shout. We'll shove the wetsuits and body boards in! 🙂
