The new home insurance requires a safe.
so any recommendation on what to buy?
It need to be quite large for the bits I intend to keep in it.
Any good dealers in the south ?

don't get one of those cheapo digital ones they can be popped quite easily. I would suggest you work out where you're going to put it and importantly what you're going to secure it to before deciding on a model

Look on eBay for a good quality second hand small safe from a shop or factory etc, factor in the cost of moving it though

I have a couple, they're stuffed full of tax returns, bank statements, insurance docs, back up hard drives etc..

I quite like the Yale range, with the push button combination entry. Seems to last about 3 years on a set of AAs with access every week.
