Want to take something on holiday - seen this
Any better suggestions? - up to £50ish to spend and yes I am looking at something which will be fun for little people and large little people to have a go at and try not to destroy on first outing.

No no no; tiny hekilopters are where it's at. Ask Emma82. 😀

Forget planes-jets are where it's at. Just add another two £50 notes to the pot and it's yours 😀

that F5 looks like fun. warning. EDF things are very fast, you'd really want a trainer first if you're going to go down the EDF route
