Rab Baltoro Guide, had mine 6years, been dragged up rock, snowboarded and biked in. Would immediately buy another when it gets lost or stolen (because it shows no signs of wearing out). Keeps all but torential rain at bay too.

Had a Mountain Equipment Aquafleece for 10 years and it still looked smart. then the zip broke.

Much skinter these days, so planning on a stealthy black Regatta one to wear for work.

Just picked up a Marmot Super Hero in PissOffOutdoors today reduced from £199 to £135. Bit of a splash but it's flipping lovely. And it was bought with birthday money. 🙂

north face is a bit chavish.

Still good kit (when it's reduced). I don't think it's that chavish to be fair ton.

Speaking of North Face... anyone see that Mallory prog on the BBC last week? Conrad Anker (titter) had so much North Face kit he must be Mr Chav if it's a bit chavvy 🙂

Berghaus ?????, had it longer than my kids!, done everything in it...just keeps getting softer and more comfortable every year, would deffo buy another if it ever wears out. Im'e a firm believer in getting what you pay for...spend wisely and it will last for years.

NF Apex here too. Wouldn't have been without it last winter and looks smart enough for me to use as my work jacket. Been very pleased with it...

treated myself to a marmot stretchman earlier this year.

fantastic jacket, very comfortable. Probably the most waterproof thing I own, and nice and light. Only problem there's no hanging hook inside it 🙁

I'll second the Rab Baltoro Guide, I've had mine about 5 years and it still looks great. Unless it's really chucking it down (wet) you'll have no problems with it and it's great in the snow.
