Currently take photo's for the local cricket and football teams then edit them at home on the desktop. Fancy a new laptop or 2-in-1 so I can take to the game/s and quickly edit a few pics then put them on the club Twitter and Facebook sites during the game. Trouble is, I know nothing about laptops! Looking at spending £500-600, ideally would like an SD card reader but other than that just want the best screen and lightest model I can get for the money.

Any ideas gratefully received as I've Googled that much today my head is likely to explode!!

If it's only consumption initially will be Twitter then maybe consider an iPad pro or similar?

They do a lightning to SD adapter so you can quickly access the snaps, edit them in an app and then post them to twitter.

The other option is to look at the reduced Microsoft Surface tablets that are knocking about at the moment.

Have got an iPad Air so could use that - what would I need to get the photo's onto the iPad fairly quickly? Cheers.

If your camera uses an SD card then you'll want an SD card reader with a Lightning connector. About a tenner, or 3 times that for a pukka Apple one. Still much cheaper than a laptop though.

Saying that, I'm sure the Nikon D7200 is Wi-Fi anyway so I may just have saved myself a few quid 🙂

You may be lucky and Nikon have a nice eco system where you join the iPad to the camera via wifi and it downloads the photos in to an app on the iPad.

If you do go the laptop route, and your editing on listing, eg in a car or outside then I highly recommend a bright matte screen. The reflections on a glossy screen would make it hard work!
