I'm not lazy - I have Googled, but I always like getting the STW collective's thought at the same time. Has anyone got a favourite hotel around Marylebone/Paddington/Baker Street?
The Landmark if you have the cash. Unfortunately I don't.
my long term favourite (every tuesday for 2 years) is the Edward Lear on Seymour Place (Street?)
Not the smartest, but good value for money, clean and comfortable.
I recommend top floor at the rear (double room) No. 30? I think for a great night's sleep.
No lifts. And I never tried the breakfast. But the Polish girls on the desk are lovely 🙂
+1 Landmark, even to just visit for tea/coffee
Business or Pleasure?
I stayed in the Marleybone Travelodge last week and it was perfectly acceptable for a night or two. I do tend to like the consistency of Travelodges. Avoid the one in Covent Garden [sic] on Drury Lane though, as it's shite!
Er, the Hilton Metropole.
Helps if you know someone that works for the company mind 🙂
