As title, I'm near breaking point with Openreach.
Need to figure out which network will work out best for the actual 4g part.
I'm guessing a home router will have a better range than the portable ones?
Ta in advance.
4g? As in mobile? Or you just confusing that with WiFi?
You can get dual mode routers that do normal broadband and allow you to plug in a 4G connection when needed, probably worth looking at one of those.
4g as in mobile. But for home use. Vodafone do 100gb home 4g for £18.99.
I'm looking for a recommendation for a home 4g router.
The HUAWEI LTE routers work well and give a very reliable connection - this one would do the trick:

It may vary where you are but when openreach flaked out for a month and we had to use 4g for broadband Vodafone and O2 were both useless - strong signal but abysmal speeds in the evening. EE and three both worked very well - they also both offer 4g home router products if you want to just keep it simple.
I think I'll grab a Vodafone SIM and chuck it in my phone to check it out before committing then.

Ah right, cool, never knew such a thing existed!
