Been going screwy eyed trying to find something for early June next year that "ticks all the boxes" but criteria are:

Close to amenities (easy walking distance for elderly relative)
3+ bedrooms
2 bathrooms
Sea view & close to beach / harbour
Outside space
Ideally parking for 1 car

We've looked all over the place but are struggling a little. So; has anyone got any little gems they know of? We're thinking Anglesey (Beaumaris especially), Conwy, Criccieth, Abersoch or any others anyone can think of!

Church rooms

I work with the sister of the guy who owned it. Sadly he passed away recently and it's run by his family. Ive not been (yet) but believe that it's stunning.

One with a real fire perhaps?

Cheers Bregante, thank you - it looks terrific although a sea view is quite important.

Real fires: defo for winter, but (hopefully) shouldn't need one in June!

More of a reference to the 1970's and 1980's really than actual real fires in fire places.

Ah - gotcha! Forgot about that. I don't want to buy one - just borrow one for a week! 🙂

Whitby's an option too, if that helps... 8)

Whitby! Bit different from North Wales innit?

Sandsend's nice, couple of miles north of Whitby.

Never been to these but It's a start....

essel - it's indicative of how we're struggling to find what we're after! First world problems for sure, I accept. Mrs ggth had spotted Sandsend as an option, so I'll point those in her direction too.

djglover - thanks. it looks fantastic; just can't see a 2nd bathroom 🙁 I'll look at the village itself though - much appreciated.
