...further into a project I am doing for a local charity, they need a Camcorder and stills camera so they can put together some multi-media presentations for their 'clients'
I know nothing about camcorders other than they can get VERY expensive.
Looking to spend about 500 (ish) on a nice Camcorder and stills camera
Anyone suggest anything?
I've always liked Canon and never had a good experience with Sony kit.

If it's to be left with the charity then a wee kodak playsport or something is all they will ever need or can operate.

If they're buying even a simple and cheap slr would have video.
Sound is more critical than vision for presentations. Crain and wobble is called art. Crap sound is unbearable.
