I used to use the one in Bow Street behind the chippy. Can't remember the name of the garage but the main guy - John I think - was great. After my car died (and I just used a bike for transport) he even phoned me up 2 years later to say that his daughter was selling her car and he thought I might like it because it was cheap and you could fit 3 bikes in it!
They don't do MOTs but take your car to be tested and just charge for the work they do.
Grahams in Clarach, on the industrial estate by the entrance to the car boot sale. Don't do MOT but good for work.
