This is a bit of a long shot because most of these things seem to require a subscription but I was wondering if anyone could recommend me a free virus and spyware scanner/cleaner.
One of the computers in the house is running slow as Cav up a hill and I'm trying to clean it up.
Thanks,
Andy

Oh,
Run TFC before you start, it'll save you tons of time scanning.
Cheers folks. I've now run TFC and doing a full scan with MSE. Taking a while so I'll get the kettle on. Planning on scanning with other recommended software followed by a defrag. Hopefully that'll get a bit more life out of it.
Malwarebytes and CCleaner is what I use.
'scuse the ignorance, but what does malwarebytes do that MSE doesn't?
MSE = protection, MBAM = removal. (*handwavy oversimplification*)
